Introduction
Hello everyone,
I’m Ronald, 34 years old, born in North Brabant, the Netherlands, and since October 1st officially part of the Sin Rodeos team in Oliva, Spain. A big step for me, and an exciting expansion for Sin Rodeos.
My adventure here started in an unexpected place: Portugal
During my travels, I met someone I didn’t know yet… and yes, his name was also Ronald! The moment of “Hi, I’m Ronald.” – “Hi, I’m also Ronald.” was instantly memorable.
Who would have thought that this random encounter in Portugal would eventually lead to my new job at Sin Rodeos? I left the Netherlands with the motto:
¨Sometimes you just have to let go and go - you’ll end up exactly where you’re meant to be.¨
A career in IT: from helpdesk to system administration
My IT career started on the work floor. From helpdesk employee to workplace administrator, and finally system administrator. I’ve worked in nearly every department, and for the past seven years, I was employed at a hospital in the Netherlands.
Over the years, IT work has changed a lot. There’s less building from scratch and more updating, securing, and maintaining existing systems. That’s a shame, because for me, the best part of IT is creating something and seeing the results. I realized it was time for a change: a new environment, new challenges, and new opportunities.
Time for something new: building with Odoo
At Sin Rodeos, I’ll be working as an ERP Consultant. Together with my namesake Ronald, I aim to help the company grow and support our clients even better.
With Odoo, I help businesses improve and automate their processes, solve problems, and create smart, effective solutions. The best part of my job? I get to build again, and immediately see the results of what we achieve together.
Mountains, sunshine, and adventure
Outside of work, I love being in nature: hiking in the mountains, soaking up the sun, discovering new places. That same curiosity and energy are what I bring to my work every day.
Creativity, practical thinking, and a good sense of humor drive me, both professionally and personally.

In short: that random meeting in Portugal completely changed my path. Now, at Sin Rodeos, I’m excited to help businesses grow and achieve great results together. And all of this from Spain surrounded by mountains and beautiful hiking trails.
